Tonight we’re going out to look at a few condos/townhouses. A couple listings look promising! I really cannot wait to start decorating our new home!! I have several ideas swirling around in my brain. I’ve created a binder to keep track of these ideas, to ensure I won’t forget them once we get into our new home! Speaking of decorating, below is a picture of our current master bedroom. I've purchased a large barn star to be used above the bed if we don't put the bed in front of the window in our new place. *I just noticed that since this picture was taken, I've updated the lamp shades, changed the sheets, adjusted the placement of the pillows, and added a barn star above each night stand. I guess there really was no point to adding this picture, but we all know a post is no fun if it's lacking pictures!
Onto another subject…Does anyone else watch House Hunters or Property Virgins on HGTV? So last night the Hubby and I snuggled up under our down comforter (it was in the 20’s last night!) while watching HGTV. We were so annoyed at how expensive our city is compared to others around the country. In our Seattle suburb we’re finding 1,000-1,200sq ft homes priced at ~$250,000-$275,000! We’re lucky to even find anything in this price range! A couple of years ago when we were cute little newlyweds we couldn’t find anything in this price range! So we’re trying to be positive and reassure ourselves that this is only our first house and one day (hopefully sooner rather than later) we will have a spacious home with a nice yard. Until then we will stay grateful for being able to buy during these tough economic times.
P.S. I have posted THREE times in the last THREE days; this is crazy!
